Jan 20, 2009 - History is created - Barack Obama takes office as the 44th president of the United States. Obama is the first African American to take this office. Obama is the son of a black Kenyan father and a white mother from Kansas. Obama’s achievement is a testimony that anything is possible for anyone who works hard for it in the land of opportunities – USA.
